A model can estimate probability.

An algorithm can identify patterns.

Artificial intelligence can analyze large amounts of information.

None of those systems can eliminate uncertainty.

Their outputs depend on data, assumptions, models, and the environment in which they are used. A precise number can still be based on an uncertain estimate.

Pascal tools are therefore designed as decision support, not substitutes for judgment.

The purpose of a tool is not to make uncertainty disappear. It is to help you reason about uncertainty more clearly.
